Families for Early Autism Treatment (FEAT)
used a $219,000 Council grant to Project Hope as the initial seed money to found the
M.I.N.D.
Institute, a world-class research center investigating autism and
other neurological disorders. The M.I.N.D. Institute received $34 million in state
funding for research in the 2000-2001 State Budget, and $33
million in the recently enacted 2001-2002 Budget. To read more about the

Employment funded national technical assistance centers designed to assist
the workforce development community to address the issues affecting the
