Placeholder for Introduction -It is now the state’s “highest priority” to make “integrated competitive employment” a real choice for people with developmental disabilities. These are jobs at typical workplaces, working together with people with and without disabilities. These are jobs at or above minimum wage, with the same wages and benefits that someone without a disability would make for the same work. It could also be self- employment. Higher education and vocational training can be used to prepare for a better job.
