The California State Council on Developmental Disabilities is accepting public input on the five-year State Plan for the Federal Fiscal Year 2009-2010.

SCDD's Area Board 5 Requests Public Input on FY 2011 - 2016 Strategic Plan

The California State Council on Developmental Disabilities' (SCDD), Area Board 5 recently completed their Strategic Plan for Fiscal Years 2011 - 2016. The plan includes goals, objectives, benchmarks and strategies that guide future grant projects, supports, services and staff activities. Area Board 5 wants to know what people who have developmental disabilities - as well as their families, friends, neighbors, service providers and other interested individauls - think about the strategic plan. Area Board 5 will consider all input in their discussion when finalizing the Area Boards Strategic Plan.

The Court has provided preliminary approval of the Capitol People First v. Department of Developmental Services Settlement Agreement and scheduled an April 24, 2009, Court Hearing regarding Final Approval of the Settlement Agreement. DDS is providing Notice of Proposed Settlement to interested persons.
